Some idle musings on the data:
- Why, I wonder, is Waterstones the only bookstore not to stock Karin Slaughter’s “The Unremarkable Heart”? It’s been top of the list for 3 weeks now.
- I notice that Amazon has it 10% cheaper than the rest: a whole 4p!
- Given that the number #3 “Catch Your Death” is only available at Amazon, that shows how strong Amazon’s grasp on the market is.
- Apple stand out as most expensive by over a pound on 2 of the titles, Rosamund Lupton’s “Afterwards” and Michael McIntyre’s “Life and Laughing”. I wonder if they realise?
